Job description

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in all operational and merchandising functions within the store during their assigned shift, providing excellent customer service to every guest.

Major Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions
  1. Driving Sales
  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed personal and store goals.
  • Ensure all funds and merchandise are handled according to company policy and procedure.
  • Assist with scheduling at least one grassroots event per quarter.
  • Manage merchandise effectively.
  • Assist with driving marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Experience
    • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to all customers.
    • Serve as a product knowledge expert to educate customers.
    • Model the company's values.
    • Serve as a role model for all associates in delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Drive PLCC to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Operations
    • Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and visual updates to enhance the brand.
    • Replenish floor stock as needed.
    • Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
    • Communicate important issues to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
    • Adhere to store policies and procedures to ensure high operational standards.
    Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to apply retail math principles.
    • Proficient computer skills and experience with POS systems.
    • High initiative and accountability.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to business needs.
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

    This position requires physical ability to:

    • Lifting up to 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching frequently.
    • Stand for 8–10 hours daily.
    • Use ladders or other equipment for store and merchandising maintenance.
    • Work a flexible schedule, including some holidays, weekends, and late evenings.
    • Minimal travel may be required for district meetings or banking duties.
    • Interact daily across all divisions and levels.
