Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, and this is a great opportunity if you've ever wanted to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, assisting with fitting rooms, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional and neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with tasks per company policy
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
