Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, offering opportunities for leadership and career development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, assisting in fitting rooms, ringing up customers promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Supporting management with tasks as requested
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Assisting with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing theft, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
