Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local store team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, using hand, power, and digital tools and processing work orders to support stores and staff.

Candidate must have 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC and EPA refrigerant handling certification. A valid driver's license, HS diploma, and the ability to lift 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights regularly.
