Job summary

Whole Foods Market is looking for a Receiving Associate in New Jersey to handle receiving, accounting, and distribution tasks for store deliveries. You will verify purchase orders, confirm product integrity, and ensure invoices are properly stamped and filed.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety standards. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and IRMA are beneficial.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• 12+ months working in a distribution or receiving environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with store receiving, accounting and distribution procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity and check temperatures as needed.
• Stamp, initials, process, and file invoices; distribute invoice copies.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing system and adhere to receiving standards.
• Support product teams with accounting processes during inventory and period close.
• Maintain equipment and environmental areas and assist with balance and paperwork distribution.
• Attend required trainings and maintain punctuality and grooming standards.
