Job summary

Ross Stores in Illinois is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe store environment and deter theft. You will engage customers with a friendly presence, monitor entrances, and partner with store leadership to uphold policies and minimize shrink.

Applicants should have at least one year of retail supervision or security training, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and security of customers and Associates with a strong presence at store entrances/exits.
• Provides visible greetings and monitors for potential safety issues in line with loss prevention directives.
• Collaborates with Store Leadership to minimize operational shortage and support loss prevention initiatives.
• Undergoes training and participates in internal and external partnerships to improve shrink results.
