Job summary

Belk, Inc. & Belk eCommerce LLC. seeks a data‑driven Store Productivity & Analytics professional to analyze sales per square foot, merchandise performance, category productivity, and space utilization.

You will identify underperforming stores, departments, and categories and develop data‑backed recommendations to optimize layout and maximize revenue. The role partners with Merchandising, Finance and Field teams to drive store growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations or related field.
• 1–3 years in retail analytics, store planning, merchandising, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store productivity metrics: sales per square foot, merchandise performance, category productivity, and space utilization.
• Identify underperforming stores, departments, and categories through data analysis and reporting.
• Develop recommendations to improve sales productivity and optimize store space allocation.
• Create and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, floor plans and scorecards.
