Thrift Giant in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Store Production Associate - Sorter to support store operations and help maximize sales by efficiently pricing and sorting items.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate tagging and placement of clothing, and adherence to store policies. You will participate in floor readiness, tagging, shelving, and sorting items into correct departments to ensure an organized sales floor.

Responsabilités

• Price items based on quality requirements and store policies.
• Check daily sales floor to ensure products are ready for sale.
• Pull bags and boxes as needed.
• Sort items into the correct department.
• Tag clothing on racks in a timely manner and place tags correctly.
• Maintain space for sorters to work and sort clothing appropriately.
• Hang clothing pieces set aside by sorter.
• Determine if items qualify for seasonal storage.
• Follow store policies and work as a team to meet goals.

Job purpose

To support management in achieving the company’s growth objective by maximizing sales and controlling expenses.

Duties and responsibilities

Pricer:

• Determine if an item is high enough quality to sell.
• Determine the quality or price of the item.
• Determine if qualify for seasonal storage.
• Price all items based on given quality requirements. Understanding and following all store polices
• All other duties assigned.
• Work as a team player.
• Checking daily sales floor, to improve day to day product coming out to sales floor.
• Pull bags and boxes.
• Sort through items and put them in correct department.
• Determine if stores should keep item or “rags.”
• Understanding and following all store policies
• All other duties as assigned.
• Work as a team player.
• Maintain table leaving room for sorters to sort through clothing.
• Hang all the clothing set aside by the sorter.
• Tagging clothing on racks in a timely manner Know where to place tags on clothing.
• Determine if qualify for seasonal storage.

Working conditions

This can be a high stress position. There are times when the work-load is heavy and it is expected that this position handle that stress and continue to work and motivate the team to reach the goal.
