The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated items and help prepare stock for the sales floor. You will assist with loading, unloading, and reporting production numbers, while delivering friendly donor service in a fast-paced environment.

This part-time role requires reliability, basic math and computer skills, and a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided and growth in retail skills is possible.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or current pursuit
• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Experience with retail or thrift stores is a plus

Retail Store Processor

Location: Southgate MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
