Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Southgate, MI is hiring a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise and help prepare items for display. You will track production numbers, assist with loading and unloading, and maintain organized spaces while delivering friendly service to donors.

Responsibilities include processing donated goods, moving items to the sales floor, and working with the team to meet daily goals.

Retail Store Processor

Location: Southgate MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
