Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Madison, WI is seeking a dedicated Retail Store Processor to prep donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals. You will sort, tag, price merchandise and assist with production tracking to support store operations.

This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills while contributing to mission-driven community programs.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

Job description

Location: Madison, WI

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About The Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
