Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Loves Park, IL is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price, and process donated goods while keeping the store organized and helping meet daily production goals. The schedule is 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Paid training on store procedures is provided, along with ongoing coaching from store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

About The Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
