Job summary

NAPA Grand Rapids is seeking a Counter Sales associate to be the face of the store, helping customers with auto parts questions at the counter and over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist teammates and ensure a positive, fast-paced shopping experience.

You will provide outstanding customer care, greet customers, and handle transactions using the computer, cash register, and catalog system. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn are valued attributes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in parts store or automotive industry preferred; willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

You don’t need to be able to tear and motor down and rebuild it (however, if you can, that’s awesome) – but we do need you to have a background and knowledge of automotive parts.
