Minimum Qualifications:
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage people and organize workloads
  • Calm and tactful handling of stressful situations, leaving a positive impression on associates and customers
  • Understanding of key department operations such as managing personnel, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dependability and integrity in past work records
  • Knowledge of employment laws and OSHA regulations
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain store UPC files, including price changes, deletions, and new items
  • Check in and test scan all vendors
  • Maintain weekly ad item scanning files
  • Ensure housekeeping in the computer room, including cleaning filters, floors, checking battery backups, and conducting monthly power fail simulations
  • Copy PLU files twice weekly
  • Document all retail accounting activities
  • Test store scanning systems every six to eight weeks
  • Maintain special report files (A.C. Nielson, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
  • Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements positively to direct reports
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned
  • Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
