Minimum Requirements:
- Prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, and training materials.
- Perform stock clerk and customer service duties as scheduled.
Desired Qualifications:
- Dependability and integrity in past work experiences.
- Knowledge of employment laws, OSHA compliance, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain store UPC files for price changes, deletions, and new items.
- Check in and test scan all vendors.
- Maintain weekly ad item scanning files.
- Ensure housekeeping in the computer room, including cleaning filters and checking systems.
- Copy PLU files twice weekly.
- Maintain documentation on retail accounting.
- Test store scan systems every six to eight weeks.
- Maintain Special Report Files (A.C. Nielson, Sami, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
- Adhere to company policies on dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment prevention.
- Work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
