Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Task Associate to support store operations and guest experience. You will ensure merchandise is stocked, the store remains clean, and tasks are completed accurately to drive sales performance.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and flexibility in shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred and basic tech proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on operational excellence to support sales and guest experience.
• Keep fixtures stocked, maintain store cleanliness, and complete assigned tasks.
• Support Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager through performance and processes.
• Adhere to policies, dress code, and operational standards.
• Perform merchandising resets, planograms, displays, and inventory procedures.
• Keep work area replenished, signed, and faced; ensure testers are available.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
