Job summary

böh me is seeking an outgoing Assistant Manager to work with the Store Manager in running daily store operations, driving sales and profits while controlling expenses and inventory, recruiting and developing staff, and upholding böhme visual standards.

You will recruit and interview candidates, train sales staff, manage schedules, ensure customer service excellence, oversee cash handling and POS systems, and step in for the Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least one year retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to count and perform retail mathematics.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written skills.
• Experience with POS and store computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and recommend potential candidates for the store.
• Train Sales Associates and Leads to develop in their roles.
• Develop staff schedules and resolve scheduling issues.
• Establish and maintain a diverse workforce in-store.
• Train, supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales goals.
• Promote staff during sales contests and maintain customer service.
• Oversee merchandise presentation and inventory; ensure visual standards.
• Manage cash handling and banking procedures; ensure accurate cash flow accounting.
• Maintain proficiency with POS usage and store technology.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence and handle other duties as assigned.
