Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive store performance through people leadership, service excellence, and daily operations.

You will balance business strategy with hands-on coaching, oversee staff scheduling, inventory control, and visual merchandising while delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will analyze sales data, coach team members, and partner with leadership to meet store targets and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and knowledge of fashion trends.
• Demonstrate drive to achieve results with a strong work ethic.
• Exhibit clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and develop a team and balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise sales floor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and exemplify Company Culture and Values.
