Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Utica, NY. You will assist with day-to-day functions and supervise associates to maintain store standards.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform active store duties as required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits).
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
