Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in Huntington, WV seeks an Assistant Manager to blend sales strategy, operations, and people leadership. You’ll oversee daily store tasks, open/close, and drive efficiency while delivering best-in-class customer service.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop staff, steward visual displays, analyze performance data, and uphold brand culture in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and fashion trend awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team coaching ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with store operations including opening/closing, staffing, payroll management.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
