Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a Project Manager to assist in overseeing store operations and merchandising projects, ensuring cost awareness and resource efficiency. You will lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with Category Managers and vendors, and manage timelines across multiple locations for fixture, format, and marketing initiatives.

The role requires three+ years in operations/merchandising project management, plus MS Office and MS Project proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Three+ years’ experience in Category Managers, vendor merchandising with third party services providers
• One year supervisory/management experience required to effectively perform the job’s responsibilities
• Microsoft Office Application Proficiency (Word, Excel, Power-point, Visio) a must; MS Project experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of various projects collaboration with Category Managers, merchandise vendors and third-party services providers
• Define project scope, goals, timeline, project plan, communications and deliverables that support the project goals
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project with both internal and external resources
• Manage cross-functional teams made up of internal members and vendor partners to solve problems, remove
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan, schedule, track and report project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
• Develop operational processes and procedures to support program and project deployment
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Other project management duties as assigned
• Assists with the setup and operation of technology equipment for in-office demonstrations, client presentations, and off-site activations, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for clients, shoppers, and stakeholders.
