Job summary

Michaels Stores NYC-Brooklyn Heights is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to keep the store customer-ready.

You will lead workload planning, ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions, manage in-stock levels through Store-In-Stock Optimization, and oversee ship-from-store and RTV workflows while coaching team members to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes for unloading and sorting.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage in-stock optimization (SISO) routines and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle price changes accurately and on time.
• Oversee ship-from-store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
