The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager in NYC-Brooklyn Heights to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong planning and inventory management. You will lead SOP adherence, manage staffing needs, and supervise Store-In-Stock, planograms, and backroom organization to maintain high store

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Proven ability to implement SOPs and company programs.
Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.
Experience with merchandising execution and store standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs.
Ensure policy execution and accountability for store conditions and results.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership.
Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Drive in-stock levels through Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and shrink control.
Coordinate ad sets, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
Ensure accurate Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
