Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is expanding and seeking a hospitality-focused manager to lead the team at our Rochester, NY location. This role offers strong training, mentorship, professional growth, and rapid advancement opportunities while driving sales and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching a diverse hourly staff, managing service quality and store cleanliness, overseeing inventory, executing local marketing drops, and running in-store recognition programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu–Sun).
• Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality in day-to-day management.
• An innate sense of true hospitality and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Duties & Position Focus:

What we seek:

• A solid technical acumen regarding restaurant/retail business software, proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams and prior experience hiring employees using an Applicant Tracking System
• Familiarity with using commercial convection ovens - a plus
