Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager – Operations to support the Store Manager in leading operational, financial, and team functions within a large-format At Home store in Buford, GA.

You will help drive performance, build a strong Operations Leads and Zone Lead team, and foster a safe, high‑performing store environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and hands-on leadership to deliver exceptional experiences for customers and Team Members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership in big-box/high-volume retail.
• Proven experience leading teams of 20+ and managing $5M in annual revenue.
• Knowledge of freight processes, inventory control, stocking and merchandising.
• Customer-focused mindset with integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of store operations to meet sales, profit, and performance goals.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build internal bench strength.
• Provide coaching and development to improve performance and growth.
• Staffing, scheduling, and payroll oversight aligned to metrics.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee front-end and back-office operations.
• Direct freight, inventory, stocking, and merchandising to keep in-stock and tidy.
• Lead efforts in customer satisfaction, shrink control, and loss prevention.
• Address Team Member and customer concerns with urgency and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and laws.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and model At Home values.
