Walmart in Galax, VA is seeking a store leader to build high-performing teams and drive exceptional customer service. You will coach hourly associates, implement change initiatives, and lead the One Best Way service model to deliver community-focused retail excellence.

The role emphasizes developing others, managing operations, merchandising, and budgeting to achieve sales and profit goals while ensuring integrity and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Ability to complete trainings and assessments.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and F.A.T. requirements may apply.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop teams through coaching, training, and active listening to associates; communicate and collaborate with all levels to execute store operations.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Ensure high-quality customer service, effective merchandise presentation, and strong community engagement; create action plans to improve deficiencies.
