Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or in an equivalent role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service, operational, and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to create a favorable customer experience and uphold Kroger’s best-in-class reputation.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans and communicate results to associates based on feedback surveys.
• Identify store opportunities and develop timely solutions with department heads and staff.
• Demonstrate inclusive leadership and collaborate across departments to drive store performance.
• Support budgeting discussions and monitor safety, shrink, and labor expenses.
