Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing retail, grocery, or drug store operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills required.
• Good problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom organized and well-stocked.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
