Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing store team, focusing on sales growth, inventory lifecycle, and operational compliance.

Responsibilities include staff development, scheduling, and managing planograms, cycle counts, and returns-to-vendors. The OM will drive customer experience through demonstrations and expert product knowledge, while maintaining attendance and leadership standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, manage payroll budgets, and control expenses.
• Retail management: monitor inventory levels, achieve operational excellence, drive a service culture, and execute merchandising directives.
• Leadership: attract, develop, motivate top talent, adapt to change, and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage forecasts and budgets to support scheduling and payroll goals while staying within budget.
• Review financial and operational reporting, audits, and store visits in a timely manner.
• Lead through Ulta Beauty’s mission and values to train and develop the team for strong performance.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
