Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years progressively responsible retail experience.
• Demonstrated good math skills for change, sales, tax, inventory calculations.
• Able to read, write, understand and apply instructions, procedures, recipes, and training materials.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with customers, staff and vendors.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Point of Sale, HR and Microsoft Office helpful.
• Able to work any shift and be on-call for emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance for banking/activities.
• Age 18 or older due to age-restricted product sales.

Responsibilities

• Display a customer-first attitude and resolve complaints promptly.
• Assist the Store Manager with program implementation and coaching.
• Delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide clear and timely coaching to staff during shifts.
• Assist with new employee training and provide performance feedback.
• Stay calm during high-volume periods and maintain standards.
• Support marketing, fuel, and food strategies and promotions.
• Maintain pricing and inventory levels; order inventory as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and laws; report concerns to the Store Manager.
• Prepare and deliver deposits; reconcile daily receipts.
• Communicate and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Lead safety meetings and conduct safety audits.
• Respond to unusual or emergency situations outside normal hours.
• Perform duties on-site at the store and adhere to policies.
• Complete training within deadlines and perform other duties as assigned.
