Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Frankfort, IL seeks a General Manager to oversee all in-store operations, including staffing, food safety, inventory, COGS, cash handling and brand compliance. The General Manager position is bonus-eligible and demands 40+ hours weekly, lifting up to 40 lbs, and comfort with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a 40+ hour week.
• At least 18 years of age with valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Formal Jimmy John's Manager Certification.
• ServSafe Manager Certification.
• Basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat.
• Ability to train and supervise all store roles as needed.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high-stress situations.
• Organize priorities with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to coach and task-manage employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory/stock ordering, COGS management, cash handling and brand compliance.
• Ensure the store is in exceptional order and employees perform duties properly and efficiently.
• Lead with integrity and implement systems and procedures across the operation.
