Seasons Supermarkets in Queens is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing all store operations, drive sales, ensure cost control, and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will lead planning, scheduling, and staff development, and collaborate with department managers to meet targets while merchandising standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a large retail or wholesale business.
• Lead teams with professionalism, authority, and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of store operations, including front end and departments.
• Drive sales performance, ensure cost control, and optimize labor utilization.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and event coordination.
• Collaborate with department managers to set objectives and monitor performance.
• Implement weekly sales flyers and in-store merchandising initiatives.
• Maintain store sanitation and safety compliance.
• Partner with Corporate Audit on merchandising and presentation standards.
• Communicate with Corporate Liaison on employee relations, reviews and training.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability among staff.
• Provide leadership and coaching to ensure high standards of service and operations.
• Interact with customers to resolve complaints and enhance the shopping experience.
