Job summary

Ashley Stewart is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations, merchandising and staff during a shift. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage schedules and ensure a high level of customer experience.

In this role you will lead a team, train Associates, monitor inventory and maintain store standards while representing Ashley Stewart’s brand in the local market. Flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of retail experience; 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply retail math.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to achieve and exceed financial plan.
• Assist with store scheduling and grass-root events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate customers.
• Maintain store operations, visuals and inventory levels.
• Recruit, train and coach staff; conduct Take 5’s.
