Job summary

Goodwill's Gig Harbor, WA location is seeking a Full Time Assistant Store Manager. The role involves direct supervision of retail staff, managing opening/closing procedures, audits, inventory, and payroll within budget.

You will lead security, cash handling, and payroll processes while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least three years in retail supervision or management, with strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Three years related experience in retail supervision or management with proven incremental supervisory advancement.
• Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills.
• Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and responsibilities.
• Maintain store audits and LP audits at acceptable levels.
• Lead semi-annual inventory; monitor payroll and expenses within budget.
• Ensure security systems, cash handling, and payroll timekeeping are up to date.
• Delegate tasks and manage reimbursement, petty cash, and travel expenses.
• Supervise staff and ensure excellent customer service.
