Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and reading/understanding operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain front displays and promotional effectiveness of fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines, ensuring associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
