Job summary

Houchens Ace Hardware is seeking a Key Holder to support store operations in La Porte, IN. You will oversee shift activities in the absence of management and ensure consistent customer service. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the store as dictated by schedule.
• In the absence of management, act as Manager on Duty and direct the store team.
• Resolve and/or report issues pertaining to the shift including staff, customers, product issues.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures and model safety.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
