Job summary

Houchens Ace Hardware in Indiana is seeking a Key Holder responsible for the overall direction of store associates in the absence of key management. The role requires opening and closing duties, supervision of daily store operations, and dedication to customer service and safety.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Open and/or close the store as dictated by schedule.
In the absence of management staff, serves as the Manager on Duty and directs the store team; handles daily operations and cash processes.
Resolve and/or report issues pertaining to shift including employee, customer, product issues.
Enforce safety policies and procedures, and serve as role model for safety.
Perform other assigned tasks as directed by supervision.
