Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., in Roseville, MI is seeking a Key Carrier to elevate store operations and leadership. You will alternate roles with Coordinator duties and lead in maintaining store standards, including nights and weekends.

The position models exceptional customer service and helps manage coverage and priorities across departments. The role requires open availability, strong coaching abilities, and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing store needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to respond to changes and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems and procedures.
• Understanding of merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Able to coach, delegate, and follow up.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a retail environment.
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team adheres to store plan and priorities.
• Provides coaching to Associates and addresses service issues.
• Maintains appropriate Associate coverage for a positive experience.
• Ensures adherence to all operational procedures and opening/closing.
• Communicates priorities and provides progress updates to management.
• Delivers recognition and constructive feedback to staff.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Supports adherence to labor laws, policies, and programs.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs and shrink reduction goals.
• Supports safety and maintains a safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
