Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Market Manager to lead daily store operations, coach the team, and ensure exceptional Guest service and food safety. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, maintaining a welcoming store environment and strong performance metrics.

In this role you will oversee labor, budgeting, safety compliance, and merchandising, while collaborating with regional and corporate teams on promotions and community initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail, food service, or hospitality.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop store team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and engage Guests.
Oversee daily store operations: cash, inventory, safety, and SOP adherence.
Oversee fresh, grab‑and‑go, and made‑to‑order offerings with food safety standards.
Promote safety, compliance, and a secure store environment.
