Job summary

Weis Markets, located at 1100 North Fourth Street, seeks a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. You will implement weekly merchandising plans, manage inventory and pricing accuracy, and drive sales while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will train and develop associates, conduct daily huddles, monitor payroll and labor costs, oversee department workflows, and ensure strict adherence to OSHA, health, and company policies to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of retail experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Manager.
• Execute weekly and seasonal merchandising plans with price accuracy to achieve sales goals.
• Manage inventory levels, CGO, and supply quantities to meet customer demands and gross profit goals.
• Oversee store inventory processes for fresh and center store departments.
• Train and develop associates to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Conduct daily huddles to communicate priorities, goals, and changes with associates.
• Review department schedules to balance business needs with payroll and sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with price accuracy, weights and measures, and OSHA requirements.
