Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Thomaston, Georgia is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations, customer service, and merchandising. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Store Manager and plays a key role in maintaining store performance and customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Manager will help supervise staff, assist with scheduling, training, and inventory control while promoting our products and delivering outstanding service to guests in the Thomaston store.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to handle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store-wide responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Supervise and train employees, and provide guidance to customers.
• Maintain inventory visibility, track sales and expenses for profitability.
