Job summary

Holiday Oil Co. in Utah is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and help manage staff and inventory. The role requires leadership, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Retail experience desirable.
Training experience preferred.
Must be able to open and close stores on a Sunday–Saturday schedule.
Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
Basic math and computer skills.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to manage tasks and work with the team to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service.
Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
Maintain store cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee performance.
