Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Gonzales, LA to help run a busy retail location with a customer-first focus. You will supervise staff, support merchandising, handle deposits, and ensure daily cash control while protecting assets.

The role includes cashiering duties, training team members, scheduling, and assisting with loss prevention. A high school diploma is preferred and prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers, operate the cash register, and itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow procedures to manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, merchandising displays and restocking.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork and security.
• Support planograms and ensure displays align with standards and manager directions.
• Ensure store financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, refunds and till counts.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
