Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Winter Haven, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow from truck to floor, and supervising a team of associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention tasks.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, safe and welcoming store environment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
