Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience is preferred. The position involves lifting up to 55 lbs, frequent walking, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping including payroll, scheduling, deposits and receipts.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
