Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Middlesboro, Kentucky. You will assist with day-to-day functions, help customers, and supervise Store Associates.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, inventory and merchandising, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring policy compliance. The role emphasizes a positive, safe environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail/store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Handle directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash; ensure policy compliance.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for customers and staff.
