Job summary

Family Dollar in Biloxi, Mississippi is seeking a part-time associate to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with merchandise and transactions, and support store operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking shelves, and helping the Store Manager with daily activities.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on accurate cash handling and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions.
• Provide guidance on store procedures and communicate standards to team members.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with a customer-first approach.
• Suggest add-on items to build average basket and drive sales.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organize merchandise.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves in the store.
• Open or close store in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Follow company policies and complete all required training.
