Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with lead capacity when the Store Manager is absent. You will help set plan-o-grams, restock, assist customers, and maintain store appearance while protecting assets.

The role emphasizes exemplary customer service, accuracy at the register, and teamwork to maximize profitability. Previous supervisory exposure is preferred; full-time schedule in a retail setting.

Formación

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate IBM cash registers and scanners.
• Understanding of safety and loss-prevention policies.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and receive shipments per store procedures.
• Stock merchandise, rotate, face, and build displays.
• Assist customers in locating items and provide courteous service.
• Maintain clean store, stockroom, and restrooms; collect trash and bail cardboard.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag merchandise.
• Ensure cashier accountability and assist in cash handling and deposits.
