Gibbs Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Colchester, CT convenience store. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure smooth service and a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include cash handling, inventory control, staff supervision and training, delivering exceptional customer service, and assisting with marketing promotions while maintaining accurate daily paperwork and reports.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and cash handling responsibly.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform driving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing store operations, including cash management and inventory control.
