Steingg in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support execution of the store's operational strategy and drive revenue growth with exceptional customer experience.

You will help manage merchandising, scheduling, and safety programs while upholding company standards and policies. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities to coach staff and optimize store performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 2 years related experience.
• General knowledge of key retail metrics, consumer and product trends.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop sound partnerships with store personnel, vendors, buyers and corporate leadership.
• Sound computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Inventory and POS software)
• Strong collaborative, motivation and communication skills.
• Ability to influence others through fact based analytical skills and experience leading others to obtain results.
• Demonstrated ability to appropriately lead and develop associates—provide coaching to store associates.
• Ability to manage the entire property and multiple projects efficiently with excellent organization skills while generating a superior customer experience.
• May be asked to support other store locations as needed to support company activities and business needs. (~15% of the time)

Responsabilités

• Personally assist in developing a culture aligned with the vision, mission and values.
• Assist the Store Manager in attaining optimal financial performance through exceeding customer expectations and store operations.
• Execute the daily financial goals, budgets, programs and policies in line with the company’s vision and values.
• Put merchandising and marketing plans into action with precise setup and feedback.
• Monitor daily store performance, review KPIs, share successes and discuss opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Ensure inventory receiving, scheduling, customer service, housekeeping and process improvements.
• Communicate company initiatives and policies effectively across staff.
• Foster open two-way communication to maintain morale and conflict resolution.
• Meet compliance obligations including hiring, benefits, workers comp, labor laws and licensing.
• Develop a safe environment with safety and security initiatives.
• Identify property or equipment deficiencies and plan proactive improvements.
• Manage staffing, development, knowledge retention, and succession with a focus on customer experience.
